I am walking...kind of...

Tyson is beginning to take steps on his own...he has been standing for a while...and walking with his toys...but he still has not just "taken off" on his own. We know it is close...but for now he gets around pretty good holding on.

Would you like to take my picture?

This video is from the lake New Years weekend. Scott was using the video camera for the first time. Let's just say Tyson has his picture taken A LOT! and he now knows when there is a camera he should smile and put on a show.  So it was no surprise that Tyson knew this was a new camera. HAM!!!

"Mommy of the Year"

And the award goes to....ME...thank you very much. I have to admit when I was nominated for this award I was in shock...now that the I have had time to think it through I understand why I would fall in the category...every Mommy has gifts...here's my latest...Yesterday afternoon I was talking on the phone with Dwayne...Tyson talked to him a little on speaker phone...then it was apparent that he must have a new diaper immediately...(you know how this happens sometimes)...well when I put him on the diaper changer he looked up at me and smiled...and then I proceeded to drop my cell phone on his face.  He looked at me as if to say "are you kidding me???" Then he screamed his poor baby head off while huge crocodile tears rolled down his face...I hung up on Dwayne...sorry Dwayne....I will call you later....Every couple of seconds he would take a breath look at me...then scream again...I took this picture about 10 minutes after it was ll over...and it was already pretty dark. Poor baby...Mommy's sorry!!!

Wheely Bug

Tyson still has not quite figured out how to make his riding toys MOVE...unless he is pushing them. It always cracks me up to watch his face when he is on his bee...this is a wheely bug...and it moves pretty quickly...you can see from his face he gets a little nervous.  He prefers to push it around and play with the antennas.

No chicken for Trigger

Trigger & Putter have a habit of sitting right beside the highchair...just in case...Tyson is usually pretty good at sharing a few bites when he thinks we are not looking...notice last night he was NOT sharing his chicken with Trigger. He thought he was a big boy eating chicken just like Daddy.
