DATE NIGHT!!!!

We had a date night last night with Vicki & Kendal. FUN FUN FUN!!!!  Of course we were home by 10 pm because SOME people have to go to work...and we were TIRED! ha ha ha...amazing how quickly time changes things isn't it. Vicki & Kendal are Kaden's Mommy & Daddy.  GREAT FRIENDS!!!  Thanks to Kaden's Grammy & Jill for taking care of the BOO BEARS!!!   

OH, Scott would probably like everyone to know that he is not CHOOSING to wear glasses...he is having LASIC pretty soon...and this is all part of the process. It will be WORTH it...I know I have LOVED IT!!!

Getting better and BIGGER

Tyson is getting better every day. His little eye looks like he got in to a fist fight today...but he is getting better. He is still as happy as can be. Just wanted to share a few pics from this week. He is trying to sit up and stand in and on EVERYTHING! 

That is a smile

Yes, that is a smile behind TWO pink eyes.  (yes, we put drops in both eyes) This has been the next question everyone asks.  Tyson woke up this morning and he now has TWO goopy eyes. yucky yucky...but I just thought I would share this smile. He doesn't seem to care very much. He is still a very happy baby.  THANK GOODNESS!!!

OH NO!!!

Poor little man woke up this morning with pink eye. He is already on an antibiotic ointment and it does not seem to bother him. He just looks GOOPY! We were going to get to play with Lleyton today, but his Mommy & Daddy decided to visit another time. GOOD CHOICE! We wish we could have visited but we will do it another time real soon. Bless his little heart!

SIPPY

Tyson is getting pretty good at using his new sippy cup. Getting it back from him is a problem sometimes. 

And for those of you who were concerned...I found my camera charger...SOMEONE put in the bottom of a pocket in my purse underneath a whole bunch of junk.  ;)

CHARGER???

Mommy can not find the charger to her camera. 

So I am sitting at the computer instead of WORKING on the house while Tyson takes a nap since the "outer bands" of Hurricane Dolly are still putting a damper on our week.  (That run-on sentence is a perfect example of why Mrs. Bartlett should take a break from teaching. ha ha ha) So I will now share GLAMOUR shots of the "baby dogs" taken by Scott Bartlett. 

Yes, their lives have changed dramatically. They are still spoiled rotten, and they think they are human. But, they have to share time with Tyson.

I will keep looking for my charger...until then...fear not...I will add "old" pics.

Poor pitiful me!!!

We hear Tyson's "poor pitiful me" cry on occasion but this is the first time that Scott and I have witnessed the "poor pitiful me" pouty face.        

This is pathetic.

MY BUDDY!!!

Kaden came over to play today. YEA!!! His Mommy (Vicki) & I laughed because they look like they are almost the same size. Tyson is 7 months old and Kaden is 15 months old.  Mommy had a great day visiting with Brandie & Vicki even though it rained on her parade. Kaden has LOTS of things to teach Tyson as they grow up together.

Yesterday Scott put a brisket on the Big Green Egg and slow cooked it all day. We invited the Latiolais & Tucker families over to share in the day. The weather was gorgeous and the company was even better. Tyson enjoyed playing with everyone and the brisket turned out incredible. GREAT DAY!  

Scott has a new TOY...his camera...I LOVE the pics and I wish I could figure out how to put slideshows or more pics on...ONE DAY!

Me Me teaches Tyson new things everyday. Yesterday she taught him to sit on his riding toy. How cute is this? 

A Lesson for Trigger

One of the most difficult things Trigger is learning is that just because Tyson points it at you doesn't mean that you get to eat it. Even if you sit like a good dog. If it drops on the floor it is FREE GAME but you have to grab it before Putter.

Mornings

Tyson is SO happy in the mornings. When he wakes up he is just happy. He will lay in his crib and talk and play for a long time. Now that he is sitting up I will put him in front of his Rain Forest Musical toy and he has learned how to turn it on and off himself. As you can see from this grin he is pretty impressed with himself.

No I am NOT cheating by showing you a distance picture of Scott and Tyson together...while my photo is closer with NO make-up. If you look closely Scott and Tyson are even dressed the same. (thank you MeMe!!) 

Now when he was born I was the first to tell you that he looked JUST LIKE his Daddy...the only thing he had of mine were a set of MONKEY toes and fingers.

Tyson's room

Tyson is officially sleeping in his own room. Upon the return of Scrap Camp I fixed up the crib and baby monitors and off to his room he went. He has not been sleeping in our bed, but he has been in the basinet beside our bed from day one. This is a transition for everyone. The first night he did ok...I walked back and forth a lot trying to keep him quiet since Daddy had to go to work the next day. Last night he slept from 9pm til 4:30 am without a sound. I found his paci and he slept til 6:30 a.m. at which time Daddy found the paci and he slept til 8:30. WOW!!! I would like to say this is because I changed the sheets on his crib to fancy soft ones made by Momma Chris...I think his Daddy would like to say it is because he "graduated" into jammies last night. He was sleeping in what we like to call a "man dress." Regardless I will buy TWENTY more jammies and sheets if he will continue to sleep like this at night. And yes...WE KNOW...we need to buy larger jammies...it was VERY difficult to get him into these after lotion. He kind of looked like a sausage. 

We are back!!

We are back from our week long SCRAP CAMP. For those of you who do not know, every year Momma Chris, Misty, and I get together with all the kids for a week and scrapbook/swim/visit/play. 

This year was a little more difficult for me seeing how I contributed to the KIDS. Between being at the lake, eating lots of "new goodies", teething (top two teeth are trying to come in) and the lack of seeing Daddy everyday; Tyson refused to sleep through the night. So I was a little on the tired side...but we had a great time. This is the face I saw EVERY morning...sometimes at 11:30 pm 12:30 am 1:30 am  (you get the picture)

4th of July at the Lake

We spent the 4th of July at the lake with all the cousins. As you can see we ate watermelon, french fries and swam as much as we could.
